There's a warmth in the breeze, the sound of birds who've returned after their long sojourn, and most especially, the daylight lingers well past 6:00 p.m. Spring is here! It's time to get down the bicycle (which was just stored for winter 2 weeks ago), put on the running shoes and get out and enjoy the mild weather.
In Minnesota people emerge early --sometimes wearing shorts--to experience the post-frozen/pre-humid weather before it's gone. The lake where the Polar Plunge was held just two weeks ago is now the destination for walkers and bikers. The lake is still frozen but the air is warm and the day is calling: It's Spring! It's Spring!
